Until I Got An Arrow (直到我中了一箭) is an action game where you have to survive in tons of enemy-filled settings. This roguelike isn’t far off from the well-known game, Archero—but, this game is set in Asia.
Games last around 10 minutes and involve a mix of action and reflexes. Your character attacks automatically, and you only control the moves that they make. Making it through hordes of enemies is extremely difficult. This game even resembles a bullet hell shmup at times, due to the sheer quantity of dangers that you face.
Although your character’s attack is basic at first, you get access to random upgrades as you level up. Every time you beat a level, you get three different abilities to choose from—one of the best features of the game, just like in Archero. Upgrades range from doubling the number of missiles that you shoot to improving your life, making your shots more powerful or even poisoning enemies. The possibilities are endless here, which is why having a well-rounded build is vital to staying alive.
Fun is guaranteed in Until I Got An Arrow (直到我中了一箭), a roguelike with great playability, that’s still hard enough to keep you wanting more. This is an awesome game, clearly inspired by Archero and The Binding of Isaac.
